Institute, Town of Mammoth Lakes, California
Town of Mammoth Lakes, California: you need to STOP cutting down our forests!!! You are
blocking the forest roads people need to access to be able to camp
freely out in the wilderness.
The forests belong to WE THE PEOPLE, Not the government or any
government agency. You are destroying our precious forests under the
guise of "fire mitigation"
when you SHOULD be planting trees to help mitigate the threat of global
climate change. Rule #1: you DO NOT cut down live trees in a global
warming emergency.
I mean, what do you have, a minus -50 IQ???
Every tree you cut down takes away the ability of that
tree to sequester carbon, and you have already slaughtered
thousands of our beautiful, precious trees here in the mammoth
Lakes area.
You are going the WRONG way. Stop destroying our forests and learn to

The planet is slated to heat up 10-15 degrees fahrenheit by 2100 unless
we all work to stop it. We need every tree we got, and trillions more
(planted now). We are already experiencing water shortages, fires and
droughts on a biblical scale all over the bioshere. This will only get
worse as the years progress. Best to get on the right side of history
and work to nurture a recovery rather than to slash, burn and destroy.
(just like our murderous, psychotic US Military operates). Learn to
spend your resources, finances and talent on addressing the root cause
of the problem and the solution, not waste precious time and energy
trying to
mitigate the side effects of ill conceived short term fire threats.
If a fire comes thru mammoth, its going to burn down the entire area
anyways, especially with strong winds.
Learn to Plant trees, NOT cut them down, or our children are not going
to have a future.
